Running a custom binary after changing the rocket-chip configuration

I would like to run a custom benchmark on rocket-chip after changing the rocket-chip config. How do i run my custom binary on rocket chip after compiling it with riscv-tool chain.Can you please provide the step by step procedure to do this with commands.
