New archetype not showing in homepage #270

I am very new to Hugo, so apologies for my ignorance. I have created a new archetype and while if I access it directly I see the list of posts, those posts are not showing up on the homepage.

Is there something special I need to configure to allow a new archetype to show up on the homepage?

I figured it out! After digging around in the template files I found that it was only looking for pages from the param.toml mainSections. So, I added my custom archetype into that and it's working now.
