O/S is Mac OS X Lion.

This has been fixed in 6.2. If you are still experiencing the issue, please
make sure you have updated to the latest version (auto-updates will roll out
over the next week), and add details here.

I have been having this problem with Google Earth's plugin. Additionally Google
Earth will not work and I have gone through all the troubleshooting problems
listed in the Help / Troubleshooting pages to delete supporting files in the
cache and potential corrupt kml files. Anyone else having these problems? Any
support out there. It has been over a year since I have been able to use Google
Earth on my MacBook.
I have the latest releases of the OS, Earth App, and plugin.

The white screen was occurring in Chrome. I opened Google Maps and ran the
plugin in Safari and the plugin worked there. When I returned to Chrome for
some strange reason it began to work there after multiple failures prior to
opening the plug in Safari of getting a white screen with only the "Terms of
Use" showing up in the lower right hand corner of the Chrome browser window.
I found the KML files and deleted. Google Earth app still hangs at start up.
