Google Earth crashes when Google Earth plugin is used on same computer

Which products are relevant to this feature request?
Google Earth 5.1, GE plugin

What should this feature enhancement do?
Let both GE and GE plugin to work

Are there any currently known workarounds that produce the same, or
similar, result?

To reproduce:
1. Run Google Earth
2. Open any HTML page using Google Earth plugin
3. Google Earth crashes and send report

Hi, can you provide some more information, like Google Earth version, operating
system, web browser and version, and which Earth plugin pages you tried?

Google Earth 5.1.3509.4636 (beta) running on Vista Business 32 SP2 + Firefox 
3.5.3

I used demo page from
http://earth-api-samples.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/demos/dom-tree/index.html
to load a dynamic document generated by our server (same document are loaded in 
GE)

GE crashes randomly and only after some time of concurrent run, so is heavy to 
catch.
(3 crashes in one hour when I filled issue, just 1 in 3 hours today)

Running GE alone for more than 15 hours (with same network link, 10s refresh 
interval) does not generate errors.

If useful, note than GE takes focus on each refresh if a balloon is displayed 
(annoying!).
Also, I found "Broken pipe" error (in our log file) when GE plugin connects 
first to 
our server. Then GE plugin connects again an works properly, without errors.
