Slides don't snap correctly after refresh #191

I'm finding that when I first load a slides page (in slides view), the snapping to vertical height works well, but if I refresh then it all goes wrong: it's not possible to press down and then after scrolling, the snapping happens in the wrong places. Replicated in Chrome 116 and Safari 15.
