We have the same error reported in the already closed issue # 4, "Millions of repeated errors in reads.preprocess.log file #4".
Although Terry solved this problem by your suggestion of properly setting the quality scheme to "Sanger", our problem is intrinsically different from Terry's one.
We are analyzing HiSeq X data which uses "Sanger" quality scheme but a certain quality score binning method like below.
Hi,
We have the same error reported in the already closed issue # 4, "Millions of repeated errors in reads.preprocess.log file #4". Although Terry solved this problem by your suggestion of properly setting the quality scheme to "Sanger", our problem is intrinsically different from Terry's one.
We are analyzing HiSeq X data which uses "Sanger" quality scheme but a certain quality score binning method like below.
Quality scores Binned score 1-9 1 10-19 12 20-24 22 25-29 27 30-34 32 35-39 37 40-44 41
Do you think that this quality score binning method presumably produced the same error in our case?
Please let us know.
Best regards.
