Triggers - dogs dying: Specifically, three attacking rottweilers get hit/ thrown off a ledge inside a construction zone in the last act of the movie. - animal abuse: Attack dogs are used by the Mafia and the Joker. Batman fights these dogs and the dogs are injured/die. - child abuse: In one of Joker's stories he tells of how his father abused him and his mother in one of his drunken fits - domestic violence: Graphic descriptions of it, but it's only mentioned, not shown. - drug use: In the beginning of the movie, a man who bought drugs from the Scarecrow is seen in distress. Don't use the Scarecrow as a dealer, his drugs take you places, but not places you want to go. - restraints: Harvey and Rachel are tied to chairs. - bones breaking: A man is dropped from a fire escape while being interrogated and it is implied that he breaks both his legs - shaving or cutting: The Joker has a smile carved on to his face, although we never see it happen. - hangings: The body of someone already dead is left hanging by a noose where it can be found by the good guys. - eye mutilation: Half of Harvey’s face is mutiliated. His right eye is constantly bulging. - torture: The Joker tortures a man dressed us as Batman. VERY DISTURBING. Although, we don’t see most of it happen. - Achilles Tendon injury - body horror: Harvey Dent's severely burned face is gruesome. There is exposed muscle and his teeth are visible through his damaged cheek. It also looks like his eyelid was burned. - falling deaths: Two-face/Harvey Dent - choking - teeth damage - people being burned alive: The right side of Harvey Dent’s face is severely burned - cheating: There is a love triangle between Rachel, Bruce, and Harvey. - parents dying - kidnapping: The Joker kidnaps several people. Some of these people are killed or forced to appear in threatening videos with the Joker. - jumpscares: A jumpscare if a body hung in a batsuit around the middle of the movie - clowns: Obviously - audio gore - copaganda: Commissioner Gordon defends his hiring of criminals as police officers, as far as I could tell he wasn’t portrayed as being in the wrong. A corrupt cop is one of the few people spared by Harvey (although who he kills is decided entirely by a coin flip). If this lessens it for you, it’s worth noting that one of the prisoners takes the detonator from a cop and disposes of it in the “two boats” scene (saving the people on the other one). - needles or syringes are used: in the beginning bruce/Batman is seen stitching up his cut - hospital scenes: With Harvey Dent after half his face is disfigured. The hospital is blown up shortly afterwards - self harming: Joker tells a story about how he got his scars, saying that his wife was carved by a mugger and was heartbroken. To make his wife feel better, he carved a smile onto his face. It’s unclear if this is true or not, but it is disturbing nevertheless. - violent mentally ill person: The Joker is mentally ill and very very violent - misophonia - shaky cam: There is shaky camera movements in the Joker's movies. They are shot basically as if the Joker had a handheld camera so there is A LOT of motion. - flashing lights or images - hate speech - sad endings: The main villain is stopped but at a great cost. - car crashes: There are several different car crashes. The Joker, driving a truck, causes police cars to crash. Bruce Wayne crashes his car on purpose. - car honk / tire screech - people getting hit by cars: Hit by a bus - gun violence: Joker’s goons, as well as gangs and the police, all use guns. A memorial service scene includes the Joker and his men disguised as soldiers, who shoot into crowds. - blood or gore: In the beginning of the movie, Batman gets stitches from Alfred, it shows the wound once
