Is this repo dead? #74

I see there have been no new activity from the maintainer recently on GitHub and I'm wondering if this project has been abandoned by him?

It is very useful project and a lot of people are using it.

I had few ideas about improvements to the project, and I'm thinking about making a fork and continue maintaining it my self.

I know it might be a stupid question, giving that every thing points to the death of this rope, and I'm free to fork it at any time, but it might be a great thing if the current maintainer give his though about this or if any other user want to say something.

Unfortunately, it's most likely dead. As far as I am aware, the maintainer hasn't touched this project since around August 2021.

I don't mean to shamelessly promote my own project, but about a year ago, I found myself in a similar position as you (#60) and I created my own fork: https://github.com/Anomalocaridid/handlr-regex. Issues and PRs are welcome if you or anyone else reading this would like to share your ideas there.
