Have the same problem, gimbal would tilt somewhat every so often. This is with
the same setup (RCTimer) as you. Today I dismantled the RCTimer gimbal itself,
keeping the controller and motors and built a new simpler model. Using 049
Alpha R45 and will report back on the tilt issue.

exactly the same problem for me too.If I Unplug pitch control it works fine but
obviously no control over pitch then plug pitch control back in and the problem
is back

Hello,
This might not be of any help as its a old thread and I am using the GLB Gimbal
but I had the same problem, turned out that I needed to do a 6 point
calibration, a normal level calibration wasnt enough to correct it.
