I am doing my development on Linux, testing with this environment. I didn't feel like installing VirutalBox, so I got this configuration working by adding rsync and some libvirt-specific stuff to the Vagrantfile.
I don't think that this PR is worthy of merging as-is. I'm throwing it up here so that if anyone is interested in the idea then I can work to clean it up. If there's not a lot of interest then I'll maintain it as a personal branch.
