For the purposes of an Outdated Software report, it's sometimes useful to know who is the main user of a given computer.
Initially, simply being able to assign users to a computer in CCM is a good start. This might take the form of assigning a given CCM / LDAP user to a computer, or an admin coming in to assign users to computers and/or indicating the team within the company they're currently working with, just as a text metadata field, updatable either manually in CCM or via API requests.
The Outdated Software report could also capture the CCM group(s) a given computer is in, and potentially also query Active Directory (if LDAP is connected) to determine the OU each computer is in and add that to the report.
The primary end goal here is for the report to show both whether a given computer is up to date, but also who is the main user/owner of the machine.
