RE:

NOTE: This version is a prerelease and prerelease versions are exempted from human moderation. However it will go through automated review and will automatically list when it has completed validation and verification (even if they fail). The two are typically finished within 1-2 hours or less after the package has pushed, depending on the verifier queue. We'll send you a message when it is listed (unless you've shut off non-action required moderation-related messages). If you haven't received a message within 6 hours, please contact us for further investigation.

RE:

NOTE: This package is trusted and bypasses human moderation if the automated review checks pass. The automated review checks are typically finished within 1-2 hours or less after the package has pushed, depending on the verifier queue. We'll send you a message when it is listed (unless you've shut off non-action required moderation-related messages). If you haven't received a message within 6 hours, please contact us for further investigation.

I'm guessing most people's automated response to contact would be to reply to the message but "Attention - DO NOT REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE!" stops them (hopefully in most cases).

It would be helpful to make apparent the method to "please contact us for further investigation;" i.e. add to the template: send an e-mail to support@chocolatey.io or post a message in https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/chocolatey

@bcurran3 I am not sure if I follow your train of thought on this. Exactly which "message" are you referring to? Something that is sent as an email? Or one of the email messages that you are sent as part of the moderation process?

I'm trying to get contact info injected into a message that has a conditional contact request but no directive on how or where to make "direct" contact.

Both, yes, and or yes.
