Because of API changes, the HSA and heat of mixing experiments are both broken in this PR. Will fix them in a separate pull request, skipping them in testing for now.

Found a bug in simulation code. Will fix tomorrow. Not ready for merging.

Travis builds were successful, but there are some issues with travis-ci at the moment. Will merge once appveyor returns successfully.
