This is arguably a trivial thing, but "learning curve" is a pet peeve of mine. As I understand it, an actual learning curve is a plot of proficiency as a function of time or effort or training, so saying something has a steep learning curve means it's really easy to learn. Maybe better to say "git may be harder to learn initially", or something like that.
