Backup files and exports are not accessible from my computer (ICS) #84

For the backup and restore of the application, when I do a backup and connect
my phone to my computer I cannot see the newly created backup file.
However, when I do a restore the file that is created for the backup is
available.
Probably the way the backups are written is not correct, the part to resolve
where to put it...

I'm using a Galaxy Nexus device, so no SD-card is available. If an SD-card is
available it's a good choice to put it on there. If not it should be on the
memory that I can read from my computer.

There are two ways to access external files. It's described on the android
developer pages:
http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/data/data-storage.html#filesExternal

For the future we will use this method (including the /Android/data/<package
name>/files) structure to save backups and export registrations/reports

Only exports are saved to the /Android/data/<package name>/files directory,
this because upon removal of the application all the /Android/data/<package
name>/ directories and files are removed. So placing backups in there is not a
good idea...

The files however still aren't accessible from the computer, but for report
exported files we already had a feature to share them through mail, now I
included this option also for backup files.

The current workaround is ok, however I noticed something strange...

When, on my Galaxy Nexus, I export a file it is written to
/Android/data/eu.vranckaert.worktime/files/worktime/export.csv

My application confirms this is the right location. I connect my device to my
computer (Windows 7) and check this in a file browser (Explorer) and no export
file can be found in that directory.

However when I launch DDMS I can see the file! So there must be a problem of
rights...

This should be fixed if the explanation from the google groups topic
http://groups.google.com/group/android-developers/browse_thread/thread/19c6caf65
b379716 is correct!
