Hi
How are you.

I have a few suggestions and feedback.

There is no explanation what or how to use registrations... It would be good to
have a quick tips or some sort of information area on how to use each section.

It would be nice if there was a menu where there was access to various options
and functions.

I'd be happy to donate if the application was more .... More... Logical in a
functional sense.

E.g. Option: Maximise screen to hide the status bar.
E.g. How on earth do you complete a task?
E.G. How on earth do punch in?

I can create countless tasks, but not clock in!

You really need to make things more obvious in the app.

:)

 Thanks

Neil.

Latest version February, Android OS 2.3.6, Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100.

Thanks for reporting your issues.

I'm thinking about creating a manual, and if I had more time it would already
be done, but this application is created and maintained in my spare time...
The biggest issue for me now is to create the initial manual (so the manual for
the application as is in the market). Once that manual is in place it should be
easy to maintain it and update it for every release.

Some anwsers to your questions:
In the market it is mentioned (and there are screenshots too) that this
application contains a widget for easily puching in and out.
So how on earth can you punch in? => Install the widget on your home screen :)
In the next version that is almost ready there will a bar on the main
application screen (the screen with the 6 large icons) from where you can punch
in/out (and you will even be able to configure the bar to be visible on all the
screens).

How on earth do you complete a task? To finish/complete a task you have to
long-press a task, and in the menu choose finish.
In the next version (again, almost ready for production) you will also be able
to finish projects in the exact same way.
This long-press behaviour is how Android is designed so that's why we use it...
:)

But why do you want to maximize the screen to hide the status bar (I guess you
mean the top bar in the application)?
The aim of this bar is to provide you quick-actions (like edit, remove,
export,...)

I admit that it will be more obvious for future users (once the next update is
sent out) to start with the application because you will then be able to punch
in or out from within the application, and not only the widget.

I also admit that the application is not perfect! Not at all! But... Once again
the application is developed in my spare-time so you cannot expect for
everything to be in there from the very first moment!

But still, if you can expalain me in detail what exactly is wrong in the
application (and punch in/out should be done from the widget as mentioned in
the market) and you can state why I should change it I would like to listen and
do it!

If you want to help, with for example the creation of the manual, you are also
welcome :)

Kinder regards,

Dirk Vranckaert
