Thermostat/Water heater cards not setting temperature #6

Hello!

None of the custom water_heater and thermostat cards can set temperature. Do you recommend using any cards for setting the temperature and/or mode.

I have no issues to set temperature with water_heater.aqua_ariston entity.

With the entity i can set the temperature, but i cannot with any thermostat card.

Only custom thermostat cards can be used for water_heater entity, it is a problem that HA does not have native card for control unlike climate entity. I do not use cards for water heater myself so can't recommend any, just know that some people do use custom cards successfully.

Custom cards can not set the temperature, after refreshing the HA page the card is on it resets to previous state.

Is temperature set correctly if you use corresponding service and if you open entity details and change temperatures there? If it works, then it is a frontend problem, which is outside of integration scope.

Issue closed due to no activity and suspicion of frontend issues rather than backend.
