[bug] RFTools Dimensions issue #8

Open GentlemanGam3r opened 1 year ago

GentlemanGam3r commented 1 year ago

Describe the bug RFTools Dimensions not showing up in Dialing device, and teleporting to dimension (using Teleporter Probe, or injected Matter Receiver) causes the server (Dedicated and Internal) to crash.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create Dimension in Dimension Enscriber
  2. Put realised dimension tab into Dimension Builder, and wait for it to create
  3. Once created, check Dialing device (doesnt show up)
  4. Teleport to dimension using Teleporter Probe
  5. Server crashes

Expected behavior Creating the dimension should (once built) show up in the Dialing device as a destination, and teleporting to dimension shouldn't crash the server

Information (please complete the following information): Dedicated Server

Single player (Local PC)

Crash Log https://pastebin.com/65wMaeLM

Additional Info I'm having some issues with RFTools Dimensions (v5.71) in MC Odyssey (v3.0) (Have to use this version so I can host dedicated server, the newer versions don't seem to have server files). I am having an issue where I create a dimension, and it doesn't show up in the Dialing Device. It does seem to create the dimension, as they do show up in the server save files, and the Teleporter Probe, however when attempting to teleport to it manually (using Teleporter Probe), it crashes the game (Dedicated Server or Internal server). What I have tried (Most of these tests are in single-player):

I cant see any reason it shouldn't be working, but just wanted to check here to see if someone else has had the issue, and knows how to fix it. I was planning on creating an OP dimension (endgame) to start helping the process to getting Infinity Ingots for the creative items, but it doesn't seem to be working for me. I know this modpack is quite old now, and this issue may not get any attention, but any help would be appreciated, as I am quite enjoying the pack.

Hi, looks like I had fixing this on the list (#4) but never did so I'll have to give it another look soon, alongside updating the server pack to 3.2.

Thank you for the report though

Thanks heaps. I hope it isnt too much of an issue to solve. Keep up the good work
