@hassanNS I think you, @bruth, and I probably have a biased opinion here since we are often creating many queries and deleting them in bulk during testing of the code. I suspect most users are not mass deleting queries very frequently since they are usually creating fairly infrequently and keeping them around for a while. I like the idea but feel that it will add unnecessary clutter to query controls and really just make things easier for us developers while brining little benefit to the users themselves as our interactions and theirs are quite different in my experience.
Unless there are strong objections from you or @bruth I'm going to mark this won't fix and close it. Feel free to reopen if a strong case is made for adding this feature.
Weird, I guess my email response never made it yesterday. I concluded the same thing:
On the workspace? I think your desire for this is a side effect of working on and testing Cilantro.
I can't imagine a real user needing to do this frequently and would rather not add more stuff to the UI until it becomes a real need.
@bruth @naegelyd good points. Developer problems don't usually translate to end user problems. Lesson learned.
I'm not exactly sure if a checkbox would be the most effective way but I think giving the option to delete multiple queries at once will make things less tedious?
Just an idea.
