One of our users needs to enter more than a thousand blinded IDs, and the validation takes a very, very long time, and there may be other problems. Since there is no I/O going on during validation, I'm not sure why it takes so long.
He says:
If I load >1000 blind IDs into query the system ‘freezes’. After a while there is an option— page unresponsive kill pages or wait. After doing waiting several times, I kill the page. When I return to the site my account is still frozen with the long list of blind ids and nothing happens. If i hit clear during this process nothing happens.
When I tried this out with 1,000 blinded IDs, it took over 20 seconds even for the "The entered Blinded IDs are being validation" message to show up, and then far longer than that for the validation to complete.
