Genotypes are shown as numbers instead of text #355

I thought this to be an issue w/ my local varify. But I pulled down master and installed all the req. as stated and still have this issue. (and loaded in all the sample data)

The genotype selection looks like this fffee

In addition, when this is applied to the filter, the text appears.
