Debian packages on jailboken devices are not recognised by the operating system. i.e. Cellular data usage has no control measures, this includes backend packages like apt and tweaks and GUI utilities. It would be great if this program could provide some support for I don't belive there has been anything of this kind developed yet.

Are you using Chef and this cookbook on a "jailbroken device"? It feels like you might be reffering to iptables itself, not the cookbook to manage it.

That correct, I ask because the read-me mentions Debian support, would it be possible to port Chef and iptables to an iOS format?

You are completely wrong here, I'm sorry.

Debian is not iOS
iptables only works on Linux. iOS is not Linux.
This is not iptables, but only a Chef cookbook to manage it
Chef is not ported to iOS either (as far as I know), and if that's what you want, you need to file a request against Chef, not a random chef cookbook.
