My workflow that worked for tor browser 3.x:

download tor browser, extract the tarball to default location (home directory on linux)
clone darkweb-everywhere repo from github
run bin/install.sh, confirm that the location of tor browser is the default one, install rules
restart tor browser

That's strange. Haven't had time to test the new Tor Browser myself, but I'll get around to that when I have some time.

Do me a favor, can you run another copy of TBB 4.0 loading in our extension? The binary can be found at onion.im

The browser extension works, but getting it installed was a quest. After clicking on https://github.com/chris-barry/darkweb-everywhere/releases/download/4.0-dwe/dwe-4.0.xpi TBB would display the download window, show the download progress, download about 1MB (which I believe is the real size of the extension) then fail with an error message that download failed due to a connection error to amazon servers. I had to repeat this a dozen times till it succeeded.

pitchforks, I am not really sure why you were not able to download from Github. Unless you see this happen again, I would classify this as a SNAFU.
