`is` method is broken #1

Hello @chris-morgan, please look at the test case. It doesn't pass anymore after this change.

I don't know how to fix it myself, so I looking for your advise or help. This bug blocks my libraries that use mopa in several places.

Sorry, I was away for that weekend and then my laptop was away being repaired and I hadn’t gotten around to setting up my old, slow laptop so I could use it in the mean time. Sorry for the problem, it was very badly done of me. I’ve added tests now which will prevent a recurrence of this sort of issue.
