I use a Mesh of AVM Fritzbox and Fritz Repeaters running in Access Point mode. All use the same channel settings.
My Hackintosh is running latest Catalina. I have attached a TP-Link T4U with V13 to my computer which is 30cm away
from one of the Access Points. But when connecting to the SID, it will very often use an Access Point one floor down and
logically it doesn't reach the same speed as if it would use the Access Point right in front.
Do you have any idea whether we can influence from client side which Access Point the T4U will connect to? Also,
I am worried that AVM uses 802.11k und 802.11v, maybe this is not implemented? But nevertheless, I would expect
it connects to the strongest Access Point.
