Can't change the wifi icon color

The icon changer doesn't seem to be doing anything for me, it just removes the icon then adds it again, no errors.

Note that I have SIP enabled.

Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7 (19H524)
MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012)

sip must be disable for installing the Icon changer then reenable after
