Gitignore files are not present in MELPA package #14

MELPA seems to remove any .gitignore files inside templates. Should come up with some alternative way to instantiate gitignore files.

Any progress on this issue or should I manually install the package to workaround this for the moment?

I haven't done anything to resolve this. Yes, you can install manually or add entries to your global gitignore.

Note that gitignores in any custom templates you define will work as expected. It's only an issue for the builtins.
