PVR EPG on Windows freezes #26

Hi Chris, found out that the EPG freezes my Windows System. Same config (DVB Viewer) on RPI and OpenElec (latest) are working without any problem. Gonna check this with IPTV Simple and DVBlink this weekend and send a report ... is it possible to add EPG Button and maybe TELETEXT to videoosd? From MY point of view this is more comfortable then the Bookmark and subtitle links ... log fILE. http://ge.tt/api/1/files/7R919rn1/0/blob?download OR http://ge.tt/7R919rn1/v/0?c

Hi Wilderkaiser, greetings from the U.K. :-)

The EPG freeze is a known problem on Windows boxes and a major pain in my arse. The version of Maximinimalism on the staging branch goes someway to fixing it but problems are reported when scrolling the list.

If you are running tests, please do so with the latest version from the staging branch. Your help would be much appreciated!

Hi Chris, Back to life, after this amazing football WC final ... After some pills .. some coffee .. same issue with other PVR (TVHeadend, IPTV Simple and DVBlink) .. and olny on Windows ... just wanna let you know this .. did you thought about adding EPG Button and maybe TELETEXT to videoosd?

Does the PVR problem persist on the latest version on my staging branch??

Will add epg and teletext button to VideoOSD - shoudn't be a problem. Need to fix this PVR problem before pushing the next skin update though!

How frustrating.

I've just pushed an update to staging labelled 'epgtest'. If you've got a sec, could you give that a try?

Note: please ensure that settings->tv->default epg window is set to 'timeline'.

hi Chris. I'm using the latest 1.0.6 and the freezing happens still. I'm using ServerWMC for the backend. Other themes works fine.

OMG... Lost that totally. EPG ist still freezing WIN ans now also Openelec .

Thanks - i'm getting freezes too on Openelec. This epg control is really giving me the a$%ehole. I'm snowed under at the moment but will get to it ASAP and push a fix.

Should now be fixed in latest Master. Will reopen if it still causes crashes.
