I ran into a nasty trick when looking informations of a mp3 file : I wasn't able to exit the tag edition. I specify I have disable in Kodi settings edit or write access for Kodi to my files. When I look at the album information, a new window pop up with the album name and the virtual keyboard, and then :

pressing the back button on my remote was translated into a backspace instead of exiting the "window" as usual in Kodi
pressing ok as suggested just shows a new tag (artist name if I remember), and pressing ok again send me back on the album name ! I had to switch the computer off to get out of here Thanks for your help

Thanks for reporting. Unfortunately I think this is a problem with Kodi itself rather than my skin. That said, I have encountered this irritating problem before so will have a closer look and see if there is anything I can do.

I confirm it's in Kodi itself : the weather settings window had the same behaviour when calling the virtual keyboard, whatever the skin (confluence or maximinimalism). I eventually found a way out : I tweaked the keymapping, in the virtual keymap window, in order to use the back button on my remote as a navigation action. Not sure you can do anything with this, since it might depend on each user remote device (code is 216 for myself)

Thanks - yeah - ages ago I found a random button on my remote that gets me out of the keyboard dialog loop..

As a fix, i'll add an extra 'close' button to the keyboard dialog.
