I find quite unfortunate that at startup you don't have to use D, I'm quite sure that I'd press more often D than I, thus canceling the backup and making this plugin very dangerous :-)

If the first thing that you see in the menu is the big D of the word Diff, you can accidentally press it, so I would suggest, instead of showing the D[i]ff option, to show for example the command [V]imrecover
