Hi,

While working on http://opensocial.pokersource.info/server/ I improved and
fixed phpsocketdaemon-1.0. I tried my best to keep the changes small and
general purpose so that you can commit them upstream. You can browse the
patch at:

and download the matching mercurial repository from

if it is more convenient. 

I realize this patch is larger than usually desirable for a single
submission. I would be happy to slice it in smaller independent patches if
you want me to and to comment the rationale of each of them as clearly as I
can.

Thanks for offering this code base, it was very helpfull to boostrap the
server.
