Thanks for posting this fork of pdftables. Could you also post the git commit history from that project?

@paul4forest I'm sorry but I never has access to this. The scraper wiki folks removed it just after I cloned it from bitbucket I think? It may have been using Hg I'm can't remember. So I moved things over to GitHub. Unfortunately, I never was able to make much progress on this and I found a better approach anyway. I'll probably should delete this from my Github

pdftables will still remain available if you delete this repository because there is already another fork. That fork adds some improvements to work with pdfminer.

Could you explain your approach in a few words?

I currently use the Okular PDF viewer to copy paste tabes, based on a StackOverFlow answer.

@paul4forest I've switched to using http://poppler.freedesktop.org in my internal projects. Even though it's not Python based, least it was reliable and I hacked something together using subprocess calls.

Thanks I actually noticed that Okular is using Poppler in the background, based on this list of programs using poppler.
