Active plugins don't do anything #12

I managed to get 2 plugins active and they show as active in their own tab but are not shown in the active list.

Also the active plugins don't do anything. I should have gotten a message or extra menu items but nothing. I tried it with advanced-custom-fields and jetpack latest official versions.

I get 2 notices with debug mode on: Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /hop/banana/packages/plugins/WP-Plugin-Directories/inc/updater/updater.php on line 289

You probably want to use this version: https://github.com/franz-josef-kaiser/WP-Plugin-Directories it's much further ahead and more well loved than what you find here.

@chrisguitarguy :D somehow you're right. And you might wonder how much I still love your answer and what came out of it. I take this as a chance to say THANK YOU another time. Still using it, still loving it.

Glad I could help! And glad it's getting some use.

I saw you taking some Symfony development. Good choice! Check out Silex, if you haven't already.

That's my weapon of choice.
