Can you clarify why you believe this to be true?
AFAIK this has not been agreed - do you know otherwise?
You're literally forking the Edgeware blockchain. Edgeware participants support Edgeware. It is not in the interest of the core Edgeware team for Straightedge to succeed. It also may or may not be in the best interest of Edgeware supporters for Straightedge to succeed. As such, it is highly likely that these token holders would A) vote for governance decisions that do not benefit Straightedge or B) simply sell their tokens, creating extreme buy pressure - this would drain market liquidity (if Straightedge is even listed on exchanges), suppressing any potential funding/rewards that Straightedge would planned to offer to it's community/devs
Looks like you guys are trying to figure out how to A) pull data from the Edgeware contract to seed the genesis block of Straightedge and B) distribute/initialize a "dev/community fund" for straightedge?
If so,
Personally I think that the best way to go is:
Speaking of on-chain governance, Edgeware/W3F supports (and the core team) are going to be the majority token holders in Straightedge too! Yay... so, any on-chain governance of Straightedge is going to be deeply biased towards those parties. Not sure if that's a feature or a bug, but def something to consider lol
