Tried to comment up the most non-intuitive part. The rotation about the token doesn't do it in a "range-maximizing" way, it just takes however the user put it and keeps that. So if the player originally drew the template on the left side of the token, but pointing right, then went and tried to move it to point left, it'd move itself to the RIGHT side of the token and point left.
