Update the mate-terminal script to use GSettings as gconftool #315

MATE Desktop has started using GSettings instead of mateconftool-2 a while back. This changes the script to work only with GSettings. Let me know if compatibility with mateconftool-2 should also be kept.

Tested on Linux Mint 17.3.
