Logging in with OpenID makes "remember me" fail to work #166

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Log in with an open-id that's already associated with a WP user account
2. check the "remember me" checkbox
3. close browser and reopen, and return to site
4. *not* logged in anymore.
5. doing the same process with a username/password, stays logged in.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
i expect "remember me" to persist my OpenID login between browser visits 
like it does when i use username/password. My OpenID login is abandoned 
between browser visits.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
plugin: 3.3.2, WP 2.9.2, linux is the server, but i use the site in IE8 on 
windows.

Please provide any additional information below.
