Simply Not Working #23

Im running Tiger and safari 3

i installed simbl
then i installed greasekit 

greasekit shows up in safari however i cannot figure out how to install a 
script if i goto 
userscripts.org and try to install script safari just downloads the file to the 
desktop, if i goto 
greasekit menu and select manage scripts i cant drag and drop a file into it 
nor write my own etc. i 
dunno if i did somthing wrong or what please help

Confirmed to have the same problem with Leopard and Safari 3.0.4

i also had tried using the 1.3 version of grease kit

poblem has been solved by opening js file with safari

Ummm... for those of us who don't have the faintest hope of understanding the 
"fix", is there a layman's version? 
:-) I have Greasekit 1.5, latest Safari build (Mac), am trying to get a .js 
script to install - but again, downloads 
straight to downloads folder, Greasekit has no option to search for it, and if 
I choose it from the script menubar 
shortcut it just opens as a file in Safari to let me edit the code...
