The use of mktemp is far cleaner and I hadn't considered the usage of trap to include the shutdown information, very tidy.

The use of mktemp is far cleaner and I hadn't considered the usage of trap to include the shutdown information, very tidy.
Just a couple of things I noticed that might make things a bit friendlier if you're keen.
