Sometimes, on hmem02, for kim or when trying to build from conda compiler, we got compilation issues. Applying these 2 patchs worked for me: https://github.com/bioconda/bioconda-recipes/blob/master/recipes/spades/0001-add-rt-lib-to-easel.patch https://github.com/bioconda/bioconda-recipes/blob/master/recipes/spades/0001-link-rt-for-static-jemalloc.patch We may want to try it and add it to install
