Calibrating N2O using updated historical emissions and a natural source seems to break the self-feedback default calibration (iirf_airborne) parameter, causing alpha_scaling to drop to around 0.6 and result in N2O effective lifetimes being too short. In v1.2 we turn off the N2O self-feedback (it's a small effect) and for v1.3 we should make this part of the N2O calibration, running a separate offline experiment to get the self feedback correct from pre-industrial to present day from Michael Prather's work.
