I am not able to connect the Pi to the router #5

HI @christian-bromann ,

I tried to share my computer's internet to the PI via Ethernet and it works well. But as it is getting very slow if I share the PI's network to the TV. I thought to directly connect the PI with the router....but I dunno why it does not work.

Thanks, Neha

Not sure how your setup looks like. In general you can connect the pi to the router but it requires the correct network settings so that the TV can use the internet connection over the Pi. Also you want to still be able to access the Pi because you need to send the commands to it.

Well this thing finally worked....now I am no longer using my computer's connection ....I had to set the network interface for wlan and it worked....so basically PI is connected to the internet via WIfi and the TV is getting internet from PI via the Ethernet cable. I guess this is how it should be no?

Ok, great! So in order to establish a connection you need to load an HbbTV application so that the hbbtv driver can inject the script and can receive the network info.

HI @christian-bromann,

Is there any way I can link Weinre with this driver?

Thanks, Neha
