Error keeps inidicated for non exisiting WC #25

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Double click in the list an WC not exisiting
2. WC widow opens
3. Error indicator (pane) keeps appearing

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
If I hit the OK button, I don't want the error keep inidcated.
Otherwise, it is very difficult to close the WC window.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.1b0 r99
10.5.7

Please provide any additional information below.

Fixed in r100. This only happens if 'Working Copy automatic refresh' is on.
As the error is effectively permanent, the fix is to give you a get out option
(button).
[Better than the not very friendly - click OK and quickly type command-W.]
The fix also works for the 'svn client too old' error.

Thank you for all the fixes.

The button is not displayed with r101, and I am afraid that the change to a NIB
is
mimssing.

I am not good at Cocoa, so I could not find where it should be.

I am on a Japanese system, in case this matters. (I see the messeage in
Japanese.)

Sorry if I should re-open this issue, but I do not know how.

My previous comment was based on a build done on a G5 mac.

I tried on a Intel Mac and the button appeared.
It is working fine.

But, the error message is in English.

I had previously tested this with a non-English language set for svnX and it
appeared to work. SvnX tries to
make svn use English as it parses its output. However, some subsequent testing
of svn showed that I'm
completely unable to make it use anything other than English. I don't know why.
So I've made further changes in r102 that will (hopefully) cover all
possibilities.

Now the button appears, but not the first time.

First time the sheet appears, there is no "Close Working Copy" button, but after
clicking the "OK," next sheets has the button.

This is on my Mac which displays Japanese (localized) messages.

That's what it's supposed to do.
If another error sheet appears within 5 seconds of the previous one being
closed then it will contain the button.
