GUI editor for specifying 'open file' behaviour

It would be wonderful to be able to specify the default editor(s) used in
Resource/open.sh.  I was happy to hack the script to use my choice of text
editor, but GUI support would have been nice!

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I've been thinking about adding this, but not until 2.x.
[Which will have a new panel based preferences dialog.]

It's best not to modify Resource/open.sh.
Just copy svnXopen.sh (from the disc image) into ~/.subversion/ and modify it 
there.
[svnXopen.sh is (initially) identical to Resource/open.sh but, if it exists, it 
overrides Resource/open.sh.]
