I was on a web conference with my iPad and the external keyboard on the day you deployed the mobile friendly version of webpack-bin. For half the day I could perfectly well use webpack-bin in the iPad to create a little React-App that moved Circle-Components using multi touch gestures. It did work astonishingly well. But suddenly it did stop working and I could no longer create new files. The UI was stripped down and the "preview" button seemed to load forever. Since then webpack-bin is actually unusable on my iPad - which is a pity because it was something like the best web prototyping IDE in the iPad for me before.
I think the current approach is certainly a good idea for small mobile devices like smart phones but with Tablets like the iPad Pro - I really see a point in making them work really well.
