Problem uploading in IE 10 #22

Hi again :-)

I have a problem uploading anything when I use IE. I've tested it on two computers on two different connections, both using Internet Explorer 10 (version: 10.0.9200.16599) on Windows 8.

Whenever i drag something onto the "drag your file(s) here to upload" field, IE just opens the file instead of uploading it. When i try clicking "Choose files", nothing happens.

I am able to press the "Send message"-button succesfully, and no problem sending the message either.

Works fine on Chrome and Firefox on the same computers, btw :-)

Hmmm. Does the "Choose Files" button work?

Edit: just realized you said nothing happens when you click it - just kidding. I'll take a look!

@jennings : do you have access to a computer with IE10 on it? I know you were able to debug our previous issue on IE in #4

@christiangenco Yes, I'll look into it a little later today.

If you're interested, Microsoft publishes free VM images for testing IE6 all the way through IE10, available at modern.ie.

Any progress on this issue? still got the same problem in IE10, works fine in Chrome and FF but a lot of people still uses IE

I started looking into it and discovered it will probably just take an updated version of the fileupload plugin, but I was having trouble getting the upgrade to work.

Just updated the fileupload plugin. Could someone see if that fixed it?

It seems to be working just fine now, though I've switched to IE11, Win 8.1. Seems to me you did a great job! Thank you very much for all your hard work!

Woohoo! :D

Though it could just as well be IE11 than anything I did.
