game library took so long to open #618

I noticed when opening a game library from the Emulation Station UI:

  1. game library - NES with 1,700 games + thumbnails, images, marquee = 20 secs before it opens
  2. game library - NES with 1,700 games (no thumbs, no image, no marquee) = opens instantly

This happens when the device is newly reboot. Is this a bug on emulation station? or does it have a "quick patch" on this?

I'm using the latest build (01152023-1) on my pawkiddy rgb20s

Sorry, I don't support the rgb20s. I don't know what powkiddy has done with that particular unit but it doesn't function quite the same as other units with similar chipsets. Perhaps you can try UnOfficialOS for the RGB20s since it officially supports the RGB20s.
