Scroll lag only when a video is being played in Picture-in-Picture mode on top of Apollo #1337

Describe the bug Scrolling Home, Popular Posts and All becomes laggy when a video is being played in a Picture-in-Picture mode (floating window) on top of the Apollo app. When I turned on screen record, the lag disappears and every thing is smooth again. The lag also goes away in subreddits list, inbox, user and settings. I have never noticed any lag before I updated to iOS 14.6.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Play a video from Safari, Netflix or any other source which supports Picture-in-Picture mode.

  2. Open Apollo app while the video is playing on top of the app in a floating window.

  3. Scroll through All, Home and Popular Posts.

  4. See error

iOS version: 14.6 Apollo version: 1.10.9 iOS device: iPad Pro 11 inch 2nd generation Jailbroken: No Reproducible: Yes, reproducible every time.

Expected behavior Smooth scrolling while a video is being played on top of Apollo app in Picture-in-Picture mode.

Screenshots Not possible.

Video The lag disappears when screen recording is on.

Glad this isn't just me.. having any kind of video or gif active in either Apollo or a multitasked app while Apollo is active triggers this, but only in portrait? Turning the iPad landscape, this doesn't happen, and this only happens when Apollo is open so it's not any other app to blame.
