(iOS 13.1, Xs) Heavy screen stuttering following scroll action #371

Describe the bug On subreddit pages (and permalinks to a lesser extent) there is heavy screen stuttering on scroll up or scroll down. It appears that the scrollback element briefly appears on page and pushes all content down before disappearing and returning the content to its rightful place.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to any Subreddit homepage
  2. Scroll down into page two
  3. Continue to scroll RESULT: scrollback flashes after each scroll, page elements are briefly shifted.

iOS version: 13.1 Apollo version: 1.6.1 iOS device: iPhone XS Jailbroken: No Reproducible: Yes

Expected behavior: Scrollback element does not appear unless a continued upward scrolling action is taken

Note: some frames are dropped in the gif, giving the appearance that the issue does not occur on each downward scroll when I’m fact it does.

I am also experiencing this on a XS running 13.1

Me too have this bug. iPhone XS iOS 13.1.1 ApolloApp: 1.6.1 No jailbrake.

Reproduce this bug: just scroll up - scroll down in any page (home, or subredit).

Update. For reproducing this bug option “Hide Bars on Scroll” must be enable.
