Same thing happens to me. I notice that the posts go gray (like they've been marked as read) but don't disappear on refresh or even app reload. "Mark Read on Scroll", "Auto Hide Read Posts" and "Hide Posts... Permanently" options are enabled in settings.

I experience this issue as well. I just bought this for this feature and it's not working đŸ˜„video

This is happening to me as well. Hiding read posts isn’t working.

Upon manually clicking “hide read posts” Apollo now seems to be honoring my auto-hide setting

jopeg commented 3 years ago

To add to this, and maybe solve the issue for some users, I’ve noticed that the auto hide feature doesn’t work for posts you read before enabling the feature.

For example I was browsing for a while and had a bunch of read posts and then turned on the feature in settings. I was frustrated because it wasn’t hiding them on refresh so I re-read one of the posts, and then went back and refreshed and that one post disappeared with the remaining ones staying despite being grayed out.

Still auto hide and read by scrolling doesn’t work as expected.
